About Ovesh
 
Originally from the island of Mauritius, Ovesh grew up immersed in sport—competing in soccer, volleyball, track and field, and ultimately finding his passion in swimming. During his undergraduate studies, he was a proud member of the University of Regina Cougars swim team, representing the school throughout the entirety of his degree. Now pursuing his Master of Science at the University of Regina, Ovesh is involved in an NFL-funded clinical trial focused on cannabinoids and concussion recovery.

With aspirations of becoming a physician specializing in Orthopaedics or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, he combines scientific research with a deep passion for human connection. Ovesh values the opportunity to learn from every client’s story and strives to build meaningful relationships through his work. He also had the honor of representing Mauritius at the Paris Olympic Games and World Championship.

  • Foundations Mobility & Strength @ Grant Rd
  • Foundations Mobility & Strength is a small group session designed to expand the usable ranges of motion while improving body control. The strength portion will center around mobility exercises focusing on improving strength at our outer ranges. Utilizing multiple principles of flexibility development, these classes aim to have you feeling and moving better.

    Beginner - Intermediate

    FOUNDATION SERIES
    Our Foundations Small Group Sessions are for all fitness levels. Our goal is to build from the foundation up, breaking down movements to make sure you are educated on how to move properly & safely, while increasing overall strength. We want you to be able to complete daily activities with ease & make sure you are capable of doing what you love for years. The Foundations Small Group Sessions are a great intro to strength training & gives alternatives for non-impact exercises, but will also continue to challenge beginner to intermediate fitness levels.

    Monday @ 1pm – 2pm and 6:30pm – 7:30pm 
    Wednesday @ 4pm - 5pm 
    Friday @ 1pm – 2pm and 5pm – 6pm 
    Saturday @ 11am – 12pm 
    Sunday @ 11am – 12pm 


    Investment:
    1x/week - $21+tax/session (full program registration required)
    2x/week - $18+tax/session (full program registration required)

  • Foundations Strength + Conditioning will focus on muscular development to improve overall functional strength, while also including cardiovascular exercises, with non-impact options, that will challenge your aerobic & anaerobic systems.

  • Perform LIFT @ Grant Rd
  • Perform LIFT will focus on the muscular development through the periodization phases of strength training. Rotating through phases such as muscular strength, hypertrophy, strength, conversion to power, & muscular endurance.

    Our Perform Small Group Sessions are for anyone who wants to be the best version of themselves. The name really says it all. It is not enough to look a certain way if you don’t feel a certain way. Our goal is to have you able to move better, lift more, run faster, go longer, & perform better through this ever-evolving program. No matter what you want to do with your body this series will have you feeling fit & strong enough to take on any challenge.


  • Home Workout Small Group Session

  • Chiselled 10wk Program (SEPT-NOV)
  • Chiselled 10 week Program

    Chiselled is a 10-week program focused on increasing strength & muscle definition, combined with light plyometric & cardiovascular exercises.
     
    Dates: September 8th - November 17th (no session Oct 13th) 

    Days / Times: Monday & Wednesday @ 5pm - 6pm

    Location: 2124 Grant Rd

    Investment: $300+tax (20 sessions total)

  • 1DB S+C (HOME WORKOUT)
  • 1DB S+C (HOME WORKOUT) will alternate between HR raising cardio movements and DB strength or core exercises. This workout can be done solo or with a partner in your house hold, thereby keeping each other accountable as well as challenging one another.

    Information: 

    • Before your class please head to the APP Store on your smart device (Phone / IPAD) & download the ZOOM APP for FREE

    15mins prior to the start of your fitness class you will receive your class link by email. MAKE sure your EMAIL is up to date on your account

    • From your computer when you receive your class link (that is sent 15mins prior to the start of your class time) all you have to do is click on the link & it will take you right into your class

    • water bottle, sweat towel, running shoes, workout gear

     

    FLOOR SPACE NEEDED – a clear small section of floor space without any obstacles to trip on


    SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT – 1DB weight (Dumbbell or Kettlebell or 4L milk jugs full of water or soup cans – be creative) between the 2 of you or 1 weight per person, something to step up onto (plyo box, stable chair, step, stable coffee table)

     


  • Junior / Intermediate Figure Skating (ages 8-14)

  • Private Men's Group

  • Perform Men's Group @ Grant Rd
  • Perform Men’s Group focuses on all aspects of fitness throughout the week - mobility, strength, stability, core & cardiovascular fitness. Expect full body challenging workouts 3x/week.
