Chronic Conditions and RehabilitationTherapy

You can choose from private and semi-private supervised training sessions and cardiac rehab program.

Chronic Conditions and Rehab Therapy

Supervised Training Hour

We have created this supervised training hour as an option for those who need more focus and attention on exercises pertaining to chronic conditions such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, COPD and osteoporosis. As well as those who need assistance with musculoskeletal injuries, prehab/rehab before and after surgeries and changes in lifestyle/risk reduction.

In your session, you can work on your individual needs in a group setting with one of our Exercise Physiologists. Your certified CEP can help guide you through your current exercise/physiotherapy program as well as give you more exercises to compliment you for a full-body workout.

For this supervised training hour in a small group setting, a 60-minute chronic condition consultation is not required but is recommended.

We suggest getting our referral form filled out if you have any of the chronic conditions mentioned above. Please ask for the Level 10 Chronic Conditions & Rehabilitation Centre Referral to give to your health care provider to fill out.

This Chronic Conditions & Rehab Therapy Supervised Training Hour is not covered by insurance. Please talk to your insurance provider if you have any questions or concerns.

Cardiac Rehab Program

The Level 10 Cardiac Rehab Program is designed for those who have experienced a cardiac event or are at risk of developing one and want to make positive changes in their life. With help and guidance from an Exercise Physiologist, they will be able to confidently execute healthier habits regarding physical activity, nutrition and stress management that they will be able to continue for a lifetime.

Programs are made to fit every individual need and are scientifically proven to help them live a heart-healthy lifestyle. In this program you will have a consultation with one of our CEP’s and then choose a training option that works best for you.

If you would like to join the Cardiac Rehab Program, a referral is required from your physician, cardiologist or other health care provider.  Please ask for the Level 10 Chronic Conditions & Rehabilitation Centre Referral to give to your health care provider to fill out.

Saskatchewan Blue Cross group plan members can get reimbursed using the cardiac rehabilitation benefit which provides coverage for treatment rendered to cardiac patients under a recognized cardiac rehabilitation program where such treatments have been prescribed by the attending physician for rehabilitation after myocardial infarction, coronary bypass surgery or valve replacement or the management of angina pectoris or other diagnosed cardiac disease.

What our clients have to say...

  • "I have been attending the Chronic Conditions and Rehabilitation Therapy training classes for the past 2 months as I have 2 injuries that prevent me from attending the regular L10 exercise classes. At each class, Cassandra individualizes the exercises to meet my physical needs. I appreciate her as she is supportive, caring, fun and positive. Her classes are excellent.

In collaboration with my physiotherapist, my progress is monitored carefully, and modifications are made as necessary. It is a relief to be able to participate in exercises at Level 10 as it provides me with confidence to continue. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone who has had injuries or a change in health conditions but wants to transition back to regular gym classes and fitness activities."

  • "In April 2022, I broke my ankle. After healing from my surgery (ORIF) and getting approval from my surgeon, I started my wellness journey at Level 10. Physio was done by Kelly Knapp who was excellent, professional and caring. After I was done with physio, I felt I needed more. Cass was just developing the Exercise Rehabilitation program at Level 10. Being in this program allowed me to integrate back into my regular gym classes at Level 10 with safety and ease. Cass worked on my mobility and strength, we concentrated on the movements I found difficult, both mentally and physically. She also communicated regularly with Kelly (physio) and other trainers I was working with. The Exercise Rehabilitation Program provided me with the tools to succeed.

Thank you Cass, Kelly and all of the Level 10 team for my seamless wellness journey."
