About Christine
Christine was born and raised in Regina. She first stepped on the ice at the age of four and fell in love with figure skating. Throughout her figure skating career Christine obtained her Gold level Freeskate, Skills and Interpretive tests, won provincial medals at the Sectional and StarSkate level, and competed at the Skate Canada National Challenge. To enhance her figure skating, Christine studied Ballet and completed the Royal Academy of Dance Grade 1-8 exams and Intermediate Vocational exam. She also trained at Level 10 and saw the value that the training brought to her competitive sport. This inspired Christine to obtain her Kinesiology degree and complete her fieldwork at Level 10, all while coaching figure skating at Skate Regina. Coaching and working at Level 10 has provided her with the knowledge on how to break down and correct movement patterns and motivate her clients. Christine enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals and is very passionate about helping every person achieve his or her fitness goals in addition to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Garrett Norman

About Garrett:
 
Growing up in Regina, Garrett played any and all sports available to him. As he works towards a degree in Human Kinetics at the U of R he continues to participate in many sports including baseball, hockey and football. Garrett also trains in taekwon-do and has represented Canada in three World Championships. In addition to training in taekwon-do, he is also an instructor at several clubs throughout the city. Outside of organized sports, Garrett enjoys many other forms of activity including biking, snowboarding and golfing. With his broad background and interests, he looks forward to sharing his love of physical activity with clients.

About Tanisha

Tanisha grew up dancing in Regina at the Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan. She trained in various forms of dance, including ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz. She was a member of Youth Ballet’s performing company for five years where she had the opportunity to perform at many events around Saskatchewan such as Telemiracle and the daCi Canada Conference. As a student, Tanisha completed Royal Academy
of Dance exams Grades 1 through Advanced 2 with distinction awards. Her dance studies took her across Canada for workshops and programs at the School of Alberta Ballet, Canada's Ballet Jörgen, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and the Ryerson University School of Performance.

To continue her love of performing, Tanisha is currently a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders Cheer Team. She is passionate about the community of Rider Nation, and the professional growth this opportunity has provided her. Tanisha’s passion for dance inspired her to become a dance instructor at Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan. She enjoys teaching people of all ages and abilities in ballet and jazz. She fell in love with coaching and experiencing her students’ successes alongside them. Level 10 has quickly become a second home for Tanisha and she is excited to continue building her career in the industry.

Cassandra Serbu

About Cassandra
Cassandra is the type of person that will never go unheard or unnoticed. She loves working with and meeting all kinds of people and enjoys motivating them with her exciting and enthusiastic personality. She completed her undergraduate degree in kinesiology at the University of Regina and is excited to put her knowledge to work. She competed on the U of R Track & Field for her first two years of university and has a strong interest and passion towards rehabilitation because of her own experiences with injury rehabilitation programs. Her experiences include working alongside the strength & conditioning specialist for the U of R Rams Football Team as well as helped to administer workout programs for other athletes at the university. She has also worked with the Athletic Therapists at the university as a student trainer for the U of R Track & Field Team and continues to work with them to promote the care and prevention of injuries. Cassandra is working towards attaining her Strength & Conditioning Certification and is eager to continue her education with her new team. Her philosophy for training is to first do it right, and the rest will follow. As well as being thankful for the incredible things our bodies can do.

Shea Usick

About Shea:
Shea was raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, where he found a passion for movement and sports from a young age. Growing up, Shea competed in soccer, playing for Queen City. He was also involved in an after-school martial arts program studying Hapkido. In high school, Shea competed in boxing, winning the provincial title for his weight class. As Shea grew older, his passions shifted towards movement practices such as parkour, dance, and yoga. Shea completed a 200-hour Yoga teaching certificate in Koh Samui Thailand, and obtained his Functional Range mobility specialist in 2020. In 2022 he graduated from the U of R, majoring in human kinetics. Shea enjoys sharing his passions for fitness and movement while helping others find their passions and reasons to move.

Dan Y Yaskowich

About Daniel
Daniel originally hails from Wynyard, Saskatchewan, and came to Regina to pursue his education at the University of Regina. After completing his degree, Daniel started his career as a personal trainer at Level 10 in 2004. After spending a year with Level 10, he moved to London, Ontario, to work with Velocity Sports Performance as a strength and conditioning coach. Two years later, he moved back to Regina to be closer to home and rejoined the staff at Level 10 in spring 2008. Daniel has worked with a wide spectrum of clients, from elite athletes to people putting their foot in the facility for the first time. He loves the variety of clientele he gets to work with and enjoys the creative side of training he is able to express at Level 10. In his own time, he stays active with playing basketball and hockey, mountain biking, and outdoor activities Daniel has a natural ability to share his knowledge and teach others around him. His enthusiasm to educate people has led him to take on the role as a Fieldwork Coordinator at our facility. This program aids university students in their preparation to become trainers and strength and conditioning coaches. Daniel is also known for his ability to motivate his clients of all ages and inspire them to move forward and leave their insecurities behind.
